September- Month of suspense-thrillers in Kollywood

If you’re really fed up watching films with clichéd formulas, here’s something more special for you. This coming September, there are certain released based on suspense-thrillers.
Ninaithale Inikkum– A remake of yesteryear Malayalam blockbuster “Classmates’. Debutant Kumaravel has remade the film and Sun Pictures has acquired distribution rights. Prithviraj, who performed lead role in the original version gears up for the same role, while Shakthi, Karthik Kumar, Priyamani are the supporting cast. The film revolves around the campus life and reunion of a band of friends who completed their degree in the year 1991-92. They’ve gathered for the death anniversary of their classmate (supposedly played by Sakthi). After having a dinner together, they find Prithviraj is choked with a guitar string and he’s immediately rushed to hospital. Meanwhile, cops arrive for the investigation to unravel the mystery behind it. The biggest question is that the death is an attempted homicide or suicide.
Vijay Antony’s musical score has already become chartbusters…
Sun Pictures has confirmed film’s release on September 4.
Eeram– Produced by director Shankar, his close associate Arivazhagan makes his debut directorial with “Eeram’. This romantic-thriller is about an assistant commissioner (Aadhi) on the hunt of a serial killer. Director Arivazhagan reveals that it’s an unusual film as murderer uses “H2O’ (water) as his weapon.
“Mirugam’ fame Aadhi, Nanda, Sindhu Menon and Saranya Mohan are in the lead roles. Thaman has scored music.
The film is hitting screens on September 11.
