Earlier its mentioned that Prithviraj will dons as hero in "Paathiramanal" , directed by Padma Kumar. But now due to buziness of Prithviraj he drop that role. Instead of Prithvi, another arising young star Jayasurya catches that role. The other details about the film are; Kala Bhavan Mani is doing a negative role. The story is about Jeevan, who lived in a hill station with his parents. Jeevan was running a chit finance company. One day a police constable raped his mother. The constable came again to assault her, Jeevan's father confronted with him and lost his life. After the incident mother became a lunatic. She gave birth to a baby girl. Jeevan hated this baby as his mother was conceived from the constable who raped her. One day he started off his journey in search of his father's murderer. He reached Paathiramanl, a place in Kuttanad. There he met a girl Sara, who earns her living by collecting lime shell (Kakka). She was the daughter of the constable. Jeevan came there to revenge but later he had to save his enemy's daughter. Babu Janardhanan has wrought the screenplay. Under the banner of Bravo films, Shaji Nadesan is producing the film. Shoot of the film will begin in August at Marayur and Alapuzha. Other casts include Manikuttan , Nedumudi Venu, Murali, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Arcahna and others. The heroine is not decided yet. Gireesh Puthencherry has penned the lyrics and Sarat will score the music. Manoj Pillai will wield the camera.
