Model turned actress Poonam Kaur, who was signed to be Prithviraj’s heroine in B Unnikrishnan directed Thriller, has been sacked after a days work for the film in Thiruvananthapuram!
Poonam, the former Miss Andhra Pradesh is known for her dancing skills in Telugu and Tamil films. She had some time back changed her name to Deepa to bring luck. But she had to be removed from Thriller as her lip sync was not correct and just could not manage to say essential Malayalam words.
A days shooting had to be cancelled by producer Sabu Cherian who along with Unnikrishnan and Prithvi tried their best to tutor her to give the right lip movement, but failed. The movie is a suspense thriller and is based on Paul Muthoot murder case, and the heroine has a crucial role.
Katherine Theresa, a Bangalore based actress has replaced Poonam as the heroine of the film. Katherine has done a Kannada film, has now joined the Thriller unit in Thiruvananthapuram.
