Genelia is about to finish shooting of “Uthamaputhiran”. Next she is acting in “Velayutham” film with Vijay. Among her commercial projects she has plan to act in award film of Santhosh Sivan’s further project. The film name is “Urumi” and is going to be maked in Tamil and Malayalam. The whole film is to be shooted in Kerala.
The film is based on the “Kalari” fight. For this reason only Genelia is preparing herself to learn Kalari. ” I was waiting this long to act in such a film. Santhosh Sivan is a big technician. As soon as he asked i accepted to act in his film. Next month shooting is going to start in Kerala. Urumi is the knife name and it is used in “Kalari” fight. For this film myself and hero Prithvi Raj are about to get coaching of Kalari. This film is not the film that goes only for Film Festivals, but this will also be a entertaining film also. ” said Genelia.
