Mohanlal and Prithviraj are to come together for the first time, playing the key roles in Cousins, to be directed by Lal Jose. Lal Jose, whose latest film Neelathamara, the remake of the old film by the same name, will be directing Cousins after taking a short break for a few months. Cousins is likely to take off by April next and will be scripted by Dr. Iqbal Kuttipuram.
