Sun Pictures’ Hansraj Saxena has said that Anwar, a bilingual made in Tamil and Malayalam, was supposed to have been distributed by them but unfortunately this did not happen as Dhanush’s Maapillai is in the line-up. But to make up for the loss, the satellite rights of Anwar have been procured by Sun. With a major production house and distribution company like Sun Pictures regretting not procuring the rights of Anwar, the expectations on this film have gone up.
In Anwar, Prithviraj plays an action hero, perhaps the first time in his career. Prakash Raj and Mamta play significant roles in this film. The film will hit the screens on March 11th.
