'City of God' may take more time

The new Prithviraj-Indrajith starrer 'City of God' was originally planned to be on theatres today. But somehow, the movie hasn't made into theatres, as per the earlier schedules. The producer of the movie is but reassuring that 'City of God' is all set to grace the theatres by this Friday. But as per industry sources, the movie has ran into financial trouble and may take a week more, to be on seventy plus releasing centres.

Anyhow, the movie was censored yesterday with a clean U certificate. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, 'City of God' tells the story of life of Tamil workers in Kerala who are constantly living in fear amidst land mafia and criminals, and also tells the story of three women who accidentally finds a leading goonda as their Saviour.
