When the co-star is your best friend, half the battle is won, gushed Priyamani, who hit it off well with Prithviraj while shooting for the Malayalam film Sathyam. They came together again in Ninaithale Inikkum which releases today. Knowing that she was the first choice of director Kumaravel to essay the bold college girl greatly pleased Priya.
For Priya, the experience of studying in a co-ed atmosphere stood her in good stead. “I could relate to the happenings of the movie recalling my college days when it was all fun pitching in to support one's friends in the college elections,” Priya recalled with nostalgia.
Happy with the diversified roles – a huge relief from the heaviness of Paruthi Veeran – Priya yearns to be part of a no-holds-barred comedy film. “That is one facet of mine which could do with some tapping,” Priya revealed.
As of now, Priya is keeping her fingers crossed for the audience verdict to Ninaithale Inikkum. Though a light-hearted movie, the efforts put in by the team had to be seen to be believed, says Priya.
