Ninaithale Inikkum - Happy days

Ninaithale Inikkum - PREVIEW

Days spent in college, hours spent with friends, fun-filled student life sans any sorrow. These things would never fade from one’s memory. Ninaithaley Inikkum, a remake of Malayalam hit Classmates, is one such movie that attempts to throw light on the happy days of a set of students, however with a twist.

Directed by G N R Kumaravelan, the film has Prithviraj, Priyamani, Sakthi, Karthik, K Bhagyaraj and Vishnu in pivotal roles. Produced by Gemini Film Circuit, the movie to be distributed by Sun Pictures has music by Vijay Anthony. The camera is handled by Balasubramanian of Pithamagan fame.

Says Kumaravelan, ‘remakes should reflect the culture of the land in which it is being made into. The first thing we ensured when we commenced shooting for Ninaithale Inikkum was that the story should undergo minor changes to suit the Tamil audience’.

He adds: ‘Lal Jose’s Classmates set in a college campus had fun, frolic and emotional elements. We have attempted to recreated the same in Tamil. Prithviraj was articulate on the sets. Priyamani and Karthik were thorough professionals while Sakthi was cool.’

On Vijay Anthony’s musical score, he says, ‘all six songs are different from each other. They have really come out well.’
