'Thriller' has no direct connection to the sensational Paul Muthoot muder case, said B Unnikrishnan, the director of the investigative film.
The movie is about a roadside killing, that is all, Unnikrishnan said.
'Thriller' is about some other issues. The film is mainly about the fight between a don (played by Tamil actor Sampath) and a police officer (Prothviraj). Catherine, a Malayali actress who is busy in Tollywood, makes her debut in Malayalam with this movie.
Sabu Cherian produces the film, under the banner Ananda Bhairavi. The cast of the film includes Siddique, Lalu Alex, Vijayaraghavan, Prajan, Riyaz Khan, P Sreekumar, Mallika Kapoor and Uma Padmanabhan.
