Pritviraj loves to experiment and in this special Onam photo shoot for Nana film magazine, he went for a Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma look.
A lot of research, patience and time went into the creation of this authentic look for the shoot.
Pritvi took time off his busy schedule to get into the skin of the famous ruler, composer and musician.
It took almost six months of planning and waiting to get Pritvi's dates, because he had to have a clean shaven look for the shoot.
Lakshmi Rai, Bhavana, Rima Kallingal and Kajal Agarwal were considered to star with Pritviraj in this shoot. But Vishunupriya got lucky.
This exclusive photoshoot was held at the famous Kuthiramalika where Swathi Tirunal lived and composed many songs.
This 200-year-old palace of the Maharajas of Travancore is built adjacent to the magnificent Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram.
The magazine got special permission to shoot there. And references for the shoot were taken from paintings of Swathi Tirunal.
The costumes were designed by Satheesan, and the ornaments worn by Pritvi and Vishnupriya are all authentic royal antique jewellery.
