Though Malayalam cinema is ruled by the M brigade, in recent years Prithviraj has become a force to reckon with. He has a well-established fan following and has proved that he is more than just a good-looking face.
Both in Malayalam and Tamil, the actor has hit films to his credit and 2010 promises to be quite a busy year for the young actor who is working in as many as ten films.
His first release this year will be Punyam Aham which is all set to hit screens some time this month. This will be followed by Thanthonni. Manjadikuru, in which he plays a cameo, which is also ready for release.
One of his biggest releases will be Mani Ratnam's Raavana which is now in post production stage. The actor makes his Telugu debut with Police Police. His other upcoming films include Veettilekkulla Vazhi, Pokkiri Raja and Anwar. He will also be seen in Raghupathi Raghava Rajaram where he plays a triple role.
