Asin & Prithviraj sizzle as Most Eligible Singles

Filmfare’s best debutant award winner Asin Thottumkal and Aishwarya Rai’s Raavana co-star Prithviraj Sukumaran seem to be the hot new favorites for marriage hopefuls on the Internet as per a poll conducted by Shaadi.com. According to the poll, 54% males and 49% females have voted Asin & Prithviraj respectively as
the Most Eligible Singles from among a list of 20 big stars that included Shriya Saran, Tamanna, Genelia D’souza, Trisha, Bharath, Karthik, Arya and Silambarasan among others.

Mr. Gourav Rakshit, Business Head, Shaadi.com says, “The Most Eligible Single poll reveals that marriage hopefuls are looking for matrimonial alliances like Asin or Prithviraj, not for their appearance but because they are the youth icons of today. It goes to show that Asin & Prithviraj are not just stirring the film industry down South, they are now making a mark on the matrimonial market as well”.

With over 19 films to her credit, Asin recently made her debut appearance in Bollywood with ‘Ghajini’ and in a short span has a series of big banner projects in the pipeline. Prithviraj, at just 26, has over 47 Tamil and Malayalam films to his credit.
