The movie tells the story of Dr. Aby John (Kunjacko Boban ) and his little family , which consist of his wife Niya (Mamta) and baby girl Anu ( Baby Anika). The story depicts how some dramatic events in a 24-hour time frame collapses the peaceful ambience of this little family.
The thrilling part begins when Dr.Aby leaves for Bangalore to attend a conference. There, a girl named Swetha ( Gowri Munjal) pulls out a gun from her bag and tells him that his daughter is kidnapped. From there, the movie shifts to a different mode. Anu is kidnapped by Niranjan (Indrajith) and Dr. Aby is asked to arrange One crore Rupees to release his daughter. Now, Abi has to arrange the money within 24 hours and save his daughter. It’s actually a race against time and all odds… The movie has a thrilling climax . ‘Race’ is produced under the banner of Pentavision by Jose K George and Shaji Mecheri, and the music by Viswajith.
