Prithviraj's eagerly awaited Thanthoni is ready for release on March 18, as the first big summer release. The action packed film laced with comedy and sentiments has Prithvi playing Kochukunju, an arrogant rich angry young man.
Debutant director George Vargheese says: " Prithvi as the angry and fierce Thanthoni is the pivot around which the film revolves. His performance will be talked about, it will be a treat for his fans."
The film is being marketed by its producers Marakkar Films as a mass masala family film, which has Telugu actress Sheela as Prithvi's romantic pair. The others in the cast are Suraj Venjaranmoodu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Suresh Krishna, Sadiq, Ambika etc.
Old timer Udayabhanu is singing in the film after many years. Prithviraj too has rendered a song in the film. For Prithviraj, Thanthoni is a very important film as it will be his big ticket to mass heroism essential to become a superstar.
