Prithviraj, fast rising in as a superstar in Mollywood, would be playing the title role in 'Mumbai Dost'.
The film by debutant Fazal, a former associate of Rafi-Mecartin, is produced by Howly Pottur under the banner of Dreamteam productions.
Rafi and Mecartin pen the script for the film. The female lead is yet to be finalised.
Prithviraj has just completed 'Pokkiri Raja', an entertainer in which he plays the younger brother of Mammootty, has more than his hands full with several good projects. Some of his films in the pipeline are--Mani Ratnam's 'Raavan', Amal Neerad's 'Anwar', Shaji Kailas's 'Raghupathi Raghava Rajaram' and Mohanlal starrer 'Cousins'. He would also be playing the lead role in a period movie on Veluthampi Dalava, to be directed by Viji Thampi.
