March 19 will be an unforgettable day in the life of Prithviraj and his elder brother Indrajith
For, both of them have a film each--Prithviraj's 'Thanthonni' and Indrajith's 'Nayakan'-- releasing on the same day.
This could well be the first time in the history of Mollywood that two films, starring brothers in the lead, come face to face on the release day. Indrajith said he was happy to be part of such a unique feat. He said he was not at all perturbed by the the competition from his kid brother, "...we are used to such healthy competition from our school days and we are both happy about the release of the films on the same day. Of course, he is already a big star and I hope Nayakan will make a big difference in my career in a positive way."
Lijo Jose Pellissery, son of late Malayali comedian Jose Pellissery, makes his debut as a director with 'Nayakan'. Thilakan and Dhanya Mary appear in important roles in the movie. Indrajith, whose performance in 'Happy Husbands' has come in for great appreciation, gets another different role in 'Nayakan'.
Prithviraj, fast emerging as a superstar in Mollywood, dons a typical mass hero role in 'Thanthonni', directed by George Varghese. Sheela plays the female lead.
