Actor's Take!

Prithviraj, one of the handsome heroes of Kollywood, hails from a family of actors. His father Sukumaran and mother Mallika are well-known actors in Malayalam cinema. Prithviraj's brother Inderjit is also in the film field and is currently acting in director Vishnuvardhan's Sarvvam.

How did acting happen for Prithviraj? While doing his engineering in Australia, Prithviraj flwe down to spend his holiday in Chennai. At that time, director Fazil, who met him, introduced him to director Renjith. But as Fazil expected, Renjith could not include him in his directorial debut Nandanam; Prithviraj's much-awaited debut happened in Tamil through K.V.Anand's Kana Kanden. Though Prithviraj stepped into moviedom by default, after his debut, he was happy to see himself on screen and gradually took a liking to his profession. Eventually he has also identified a deep passion and dedication in the creative field. Now after 45 films with seven in Tamil including the superhit Mozhi, Prithviraj is shooting for Ninaithale Inikkum a remake of the Malayalam film Classmates.
