Prithviraj's Mallu Singh to be filmed in Punjab

Prithviraj's sardar avatar in Mallu Singh will be shot entirely in Punjab, say industry sources.

Mallu Singh, which will be directed by Vysakh, will see the director-actor duo team up again after their blockbuster Pokkiri Raja last year.

Prithviraj plays a Malayalee who disguises himself as a Sikh and lives in Punjab. The movie will also have Kunchacko Boban playing a prominent role.

Vysakh, who is fresh off the super hit Seniors, is now waiting for Prithviraj, who is busy with the filming of Masters, to start the shooting of the movie.

The last time sardars were featured in a Malayalam film was in Dileep-starrer Punjabi House in 1998. The latest buzz is that Dileep and Rafi Mecartin are gearing up for the blockbuster's sequel Lucky Singh, scheduled for release next year.
