It looks like the film Thriller which has released this weekend for the Bakrid crowd has done very well at the box. Till now the crowd loves Prithviraj and has declared him to be the star for the time being. Though the movie has received poor critical response, it continues to do well around the 80 odd screens around Kerala. It looks like after Mammootty and Mohanlal Prithvi is the next unchallenged hero of Mollywood.
The film features Catherine in a small role as the heroine where she does not have much to do. Prithvi seems to be the be-all and end-all of the movie. And the film apparently has got heavy influences from the Muthoot murder, from the media coverage to the way the murder was committed and the crooked weird looking dagger that was used to murder the man.
But it seems that the audience loves every bit of Prithviraj as he has appeared in the film like almost a super hero. They love his way of walk and talk and style and after Anwar it looks like the audience is loving the way Prithvi is playing his action roles with style.
