It is a season of actors turning into singers. After Kamal Hassan, Vikram, Silambarasan and Dhanush, turned singers in their film in Tamil, Pritviraj has joined the bandwagon.
Pritvi has sung this song for his new film Puthiyamugham under the baton of music director Deepak Dev. Last Saturday, after dubbing for the film in Kochi, Pritvi took a flight to Chennai and sung the title song at Deepak’s studio in Saligramam.
Pritvi was initially doubtful of his capabilities of rendering a full song and finally on Dev’s encouragement, he sang the melodious title song- Suryamugham Ini Oru Puthiyamugham… written by Kaithapuram Damodaran Namboothiri, the Vairamuthu of Malayalam film songs.
