The busiest youth star Prithviraj is going to join three horror films with three popular directors. Prithviraj has been casted as the hero in Major Ravi's next project 'Maadankolli'. He is deviating from the patriotic formula as 'Maadankolli' includes fantasy and horror. The film will be produced by Vaishakh films. Noted cameraman of Tamil film industry Thiru will wield the camera. Sunil Parameswaran has penned the script. The film will also to be dubbed in Tamil and is billed as an “edge-of-the-seat fantasy thriller.” The story is by Sunil Parameswaran, who is known for dealing with topics based on supernatural forces. The film will be shot by ace cameraman Thiru. Major Ravi will start the shoot of this horror film after he completes his Tamil patriotic action film with Arjun.
After his successful ‘Vellinakshtram’ with director Vinayan, young actor Prithviraj will be seen once again in a horror movie. This time Kukku, a cousin of Santhosh Sivan, will direct the new yet to be titled movie. Kukku Surendran has earlier been with Prithviraj for the movie ‘Veeralaipattu’, which hadn't been a success at the Box Office. This time Kukku will team with scriptwriter S. Balachandran, of 'Alexander The Great', (Mohanlal's new movie) to create this much different horror thriller.
After Dileep starrer Moss n Cat, Veteran director Fazil is again coming with youth star Prithviraj. Fazil choose Nayanthara to put as heroine. The character of the film is investigative and horrow which aims both youth and family audience. The movie will distribute and produced by Welgate Group.Fazil is also thinking to make this movie as bilangual release. The movie is titled now as 'Kanikha'.
