A brutal incident inspired scriptwriter Jinu Abraham to pen the script of Masters.
"The film begins with that exact visual that I once witnessed while I was back in college. Though, I cannot reveal much as that is the suspense element in the film," says Jinu, whose script has been directed by Johny Antony. "The film deals with contemporary issues and is investigative in nature. I was worried about not being able to find a director who would relate to the story, but Johny has been perfect," says the writer.
The writer also adds that he had imagined actor Prithviraj enacting one of the lead roles, and is happy to see his dreams come true. The film stars Prithviraj and Sasikumar.
